Top Resa 2009: New images of the Seychelles

This coming weekend once again the delegation of Seychelles tourism will be taking off for Paris, to participate in a big tourism event: the IFTM Top Resa 2009, which takes place between the 22nd and 25th of September.

Led by Alain St Ange, the marketing director of the Seychelles Tourism Office, the delegation of 14 professionals will travel to one of the most important events on their agenda.

Covering for more than 20% of the archipelagos annual visitors alone, France is the principal tourist market for the Seychelles.

It is thus the delegations goal, to distinguish itself once again as ideal destination for memorable holidays or events.

They intend for Top Resa to be another platform for the pursuit of their promotion campaign, which they already presented at the ITB Berlin last March: “The Seychelles- an affordable and accessible tourist destination”.

Emphasis however, will also be put on the next stage of the campaign; the fact that the Seychelles are also a destination for all kinds of budget, ranging from five star beach resort to small and typical island style guest house.

At the same time, the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) will launch a new campaign of images and pictures of the archipelago, notably a new series of panorama posters depicting some spectacular beaches and the turquoise waters of this wonderful destination.

“The Seychelles boast some of the prettiest beaches in the world and we will certainly work from this angle in order to successfully sell our destination” is the tourism office's point of view.
