The website cntraveller.com lists the 100 best travel experiences around the world, regardless of category, or whether they are offered by a tour operator or an airline. The hotel on North Island in the Seychelles can also be found on this list which is headed by the Six Senses Hideaway in Samui, Thailand.

According to their site cntraveller and their Readers Travel Awards, the Seychelles rank on 5th position in the list of the 10 best islands worldwide in 2008; including best beach destination. Amongst the top 5, one may find the Maldives in the leading position followed by the Greek islands, Mauritius, Barbados and the Seychelles.
